Held five times a year in Budapest at Lurdy House, visitors can experience the world of exotic animals and their experts in a unique way.
TerraPlaza is fundamentally a terrarium event. However, over the years, it has expanded to include numerous new areas. One of the largest expansions occurred in aquaristics, making TerraPlaza Hungary's most significant meeting point for both terrarium and aquarium enthusiasts. Visitors can also enjoy exciting exhibitions, programs, as well as environmental and animal welfare education.
TerraPlaza offers different experiences for every visitor depending on their interests, where you can discover the stunning diversity of exotic animals. You can quickly explore it in two hours, but if you’re deeply interested, you can spend the entire day there. The key players in the hobby, whether exhibitors or visitors, are present, where breeders showcase the latest species, variants, and care practices, so you can learn about the freshest trends firsthand.

Tickets are available online in advance and at the venue. On-site ticket purchase is available from 08:00 and payment can be made by card or cash. Entry to the event is through 3 ticket counters and 2 separate fast-entry gates for online tickets. Online tickets provide faster and more convenient entry. Please note that the ticketing system may charge a service fee for online purchases.
We provide early entry for 500 people before the official opening: VIP ticket holders can enter from 9:00 AM. Each VIP ticket includes a unique collectible gift. Tickets are available online and on-site from 8:00 AM.
You can make purchase from breeders primarily in cash at the expo.
For more than a decade, the Lurdy Conference Center has been the home of TerraPlaza. The venue has proven to be an excellent choice during the event's continuous growth, providing the ideal environment and infrastructure.
TerraPlaza occupies almost the entire Lurdy Conference Center, offering over 4000 square meters of space since 2024. This vast area ensures smooth movement, spacious exhibition spaces, and a great visitor experience.
Lurdy House is not just a venue but a living shopping mall, featuring popular fast-food restaurants, cafes, retail chains, currency exchange, banks, and ATMs. Visitors can easily access all necessary services, whether for meals, coffee breaks, or financial services. With a TerraPlaza wristband, visitors can return to the event anytime during the day, making it convenient to have lunch in the mall and continue exploring afterward.
Lurdy House offers a large surface parking lot with the first 2 hours free. The underground parking is paid but provides ample space for TerraPlaza visitors, which is particularly important for high-attendance events, ensuring convenient and quick parking options.
Lurdy House is one of the few venues perfectly suited for showcasing exotic animals, thanks to its fully air-conditioned environment. Since 2024, the conference center has been renovated, significantly improving ventilation and capacity, enhancing the comfort and safety of the venue.
