TerraPlaza is a unique event where exotic animal enthusiasts meet. As one of the most significant terrarium and aquarium exhibitions in Central Europe, it attracts both experts and hobbyists. The exhibition is not just a market but a community experience, where the love for animals and responsible care come together.

15 Years of Serving Exotic Animal Enthusiasts
Since 2009, TerraPlaza has been continuously growing and expanding thanks to thousands of local and international visitors. The international presence has enriched TerraPlaza from the very beginning, benefiting both visitors and exhibitors.
Held five times a year in Budapest at Lurdy House, visitors can experience the world of exotic animals and their experts in a unique way.
Not Just a Terrarium Expo
TerraPlaza is fundamentally a terrarium event. However, over the years, it has expanded to include numerous new areas. One of the largest expansions occurred in aquaristics, making TerraPlaza Hungary's most significant meeting point for both terrarium and aquarium enthusiasts. Visitors can also enjoy exciting exhibitions, programs, as well as environmental and animal welfare education.
What experiences await at TerraPlaza?
TerraPlaza offers different experiences for every visitor depending on their interests, where you can discover the stunning diversity of exotic animals. You can quickly explore it in two hours, but if you’re deeply interested, you can spend the entire day there. The key players in the hobby, whether exhibitors or visitors, are present, where breeders showcase the latest species, variants, and care practices, so you can learn about the freshest trends firsthand.

The VIP tickets entitle 1000 of our guests to enter the expo at 9 am, before the official opening. An extra gift is included. VIP tickets can be purchased online, or on the venue from 8AM.
You can make purchase from breeders primarily in cash at the expo.

For more than a decade, the Lurdy Conference Center has been the home of TerraPlaza. The venue has proven to be an excellent choice during the event's continuous growth, providing the ideal environment and infrastructure.

TerraPlaza occupies almost the entire Lurdy Conference Center, offering over 4000 square meters of space since 2024. This vast area ensures smooth movement, spacious exhibition spaces, and a great visitor experience.

Lurdy House is not just a venue but a living shopping mall, featuring popular fast-food restaurants, cafes, retail chains, currency exchange, banks, and ATMs. Visitors can easily access all necessary services, whether for meals, coffee breaks, or financial services. With a TerraPlaza wristband, visitors can return to the event anytime during the day, making it convenient to have lunch in the mall and continue exploring afterward.
4. Convenient parking options: Hundreds of parking spaces available
Lurdy House offers a large surface parking lot with the first 2 hours free. The underground parking is paid but provides ample space for TerraPlaza visitors, which is particularly important for high-attendance events, ensuring convenient and quick parking options.
5. Air-conditioned, modern event space: Safe for exotic animals
Lurdy House is one of the few venues perfectly suited for showcasing exotic animals, thanks to its fully air-conditioned environment. Since 2024, the conference center has been renovated, significantly improving ventilation and capacity, enhancing the comfort and safety of the venue.
