Cubaris Rubber Ducky, more precisely written as Cubaris sp. “Rubber Ducky”, is one of the most recognizable and unusual-looking terrestrial isopods in the terrarium hobby.
Its base color is dark brown, but the first body segment and the abdomen show a striking sunny yellow pattern. This strong color contrast gives it its special rubber duck-like appearance. Its legs and antennae are also dark brown, making the bright yellow areas stand out even more. Because of this unique look, it is easy to recognize and has earned the nickname “Rubber Ducky.”
