The green vine snake (Ahaetulla nasuta) has venom-delivering fangs positioned toward the back of its upper jaw.

Boa constrictor imperator does not use venom, but catches prey with its teeth and subdues it with powerful muscles.

Juvenile Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens have a contrasting abdomen pattern, while adults develop vivid blue, green and orange colors.
