The mangrove snake (Gonyosoma oxycephalum) is a fascinating snake that mainly lives in tree canopies and dense bushes. Its bright green color provides excellent camouflage among the leaves. Thanks to this, it can remain almost invisible in its natural habitat. It usually hunts in higher vegetation, but may sometimes move down to the ground while searching for prey. This species is active during the day, when it moves around and searches for food.
