tortoises

The Aldabra giant tortoise is a massive land tortoise with a strong, domed shell that helps support its body.

The eastern box turtle can close its shell tightly, giving it strong protection against predators such as raccoons.

The leopard tortoise is one of Africa’s largest land tortoises, with a shell length that can reach up to 70 cm.
